The vacuum filtration system is mainly composed of several important parts such as filtration mechanism, vacuum device, drive device and control system.

The filtration mechanism is the core part. Common ones include drum type, plate and frame type and belt type. The drum filter mechanism consists of a fixed filter surface and a rotating drum body. Under the action of vacuum, the liquid is sucked in and discharged through the filter surface, and the solid particles remain on the filter surface; the plate and frame type consists of multiple alternately arranged plates and frames, and the filtrate flows into the filter tank through the filter cloth; the belt type relies on the moving filter belt to achieve filtration separation.

The vacuum device provides the necessary negative pressure environment for the filtration process. Usually, water ring vacuum pumps, steam jet pumps and other equipment are used. These devices can generate and maintain a certain vacuum degree to ensure that the liquid can be smoothly extracted.

The drive device ensures that the filtration mechanism can work continuously and stably. For example, the drum vacuum filter relies on the motor to drive the drum body to rotate, and the belt vacuum filter relies on the motor to drive the filter belt to move.

The control system precisely regulates the entire vacuum filtration process. It can automatically control the operation of the equipment according to preset parameters, such as vacuum degree, filtration time, liquid inlet flow, etc., and can monitor the system operation status in real time, and promptly alarm and adjust once an abnormal situation occurs.

In addition, auxiliary equipment such as residue treatment equipment after solid-liquid separation and filtrate storage devices are also indispensable. The residue treatment equipment can properly handle the separated solid residue; the filtrate storage device can store the filtered clean liquid for subsequent use.
